Senior Process Associate
Key Responsibilities
· Own and oversee all aspects of client operations, serving as the primary point of accountability for service delivery and client satisfaction
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on best practices within StavPay. Oversee review of OCR data input, allocation methodology design, underlying data management, and advanced reporting.
- Lead timely resolution and escalation of complex client issues, exercising sound judgment to determine risk and appropriate response.
· Partner with IT, Product, and Client teams to drive process standardization, automation initiatives, and platform enhancements
· Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across clients, internal teams, Development, and Business Analysis
· Ensure service level agreements, memorandums, and client delivery summaries are consistently met and proactively managed
· Own the governance of desk procedures, process manuals, and process maps, ensuring they are current, accurate, and consistently applied across the team
· Proactively engage with clients to understand evolving requirements, communicate product enhancements, and identify opportunities to deepen the relationship
· Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing accounting operations, reporting processes, and overall client experience
· Provide senior oversight and sign-off on team reconciliations and regular reporting, including payment processing, validation error resolution, and client communications
· Identify, champion, and implement process improvement initiatives across client operations and the StavPay platform
· Define, track, and report on SLA performance for each client, identifying trends and driving corrective action where needed
· Serve as the senior point of contact for client support and escalation, ensuring issues are resolved with urgency and professionalism
Required Competences - Must have Skills
· Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
· CA/ICWA/CMA/MBA strongly preferred.
· Deep expertise in:
· General Ledger systems and fund accounting principles
· Complex expense allocations and multi-entity structures
· Demonstrated ability to design, document, and enforce complex operational procedures at a senior level
· Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to review and take ownership of complex, high-volume work
· Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple clients, provide clear status updates to senior stakeholders, and drive issues to resolution
· Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present confidently to senior client stakeholders
· Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, leadership presence, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
· Deep AP and accounting knowledge with a thorough command of accounting principles and financial controls
· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with data analysis, modeling, and reporting tools is a plus
Expertise Competences - Good to have Skills
· Significant experience in alternative asset management strongly preferred (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, or fund of funds).
· Knowledge of Accounting Systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Workday, Sage 300, Dynamics 365, VM, Geneva etc.
Working Hours – 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM (7 AM to 4:30 PM EST) – based on project demand
