Sales Engineer
About the Role:
We are hiring a Sales Engineer to lead client-facing sales demonstrations. The role is a technical and functional bridge between our prospects, customers, and revenue teams. This role blends product expertise, financial workflow knowledge, and consultative selling. You will partner closely with sales to qualify opportunities, lead presentations, upsells to existing clients, execute proof-of-concept engagements, respond to RFI/RFP, etc.
This is a high-impact role suited for someone who enjoys being front and center in client facing meetings, translating complex fintech capabilities into compelling business outcomes and helping drive revenue growth.

Deep Knowledge of Asset Management industry & Expense Management Workflows — Strong expertise in expense management processes, middle- and back-office operations, and accounting workflows, with a focus on Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Family Offices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-impact, story-led solution demonstrations that connect platform capabilities to real client scenarios, clearly communicate business value, and guide buyers through a compelling narrative — the primary responsibility of this role
Partner closely with Sales and Account Management to actively qualify opportunities and assess solution fit, ensuring strong alignment early in the sales cycle
Act as a bridge between Sales and Product to validate requirements and ensure proposed solutions meet client needs
Support upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts through consultative solution positioning
Lead structured discovery engagements that inform implementation approach, onboarding estimates, scope definition, and delivery timelines
Design, scope, and execute proof-of-concept engagements aligned to real client use cases
Own and maintain demo environments, ensuring data, configurations, and example workflows are current, realistic, and structured to support engaging presentations
Translate accounting, expense management, and operational requirements into practical, scalable solution designs
Serve as a trusted advisor throughout evaluation and decision processes
Maintain deep expertise in platform capabilities and fintech landscape
Own and contribute to technical RFI/RFP responses and solution documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
3–7+ years in sales engineering, solutions consulting, or buy-side end user roles (controllers, finance, etc.), or similar
Experience in fintech, expense management, payments, B2B software, SaaS, or workflow-heavy products (preferred)
Working knowledge of financial controls, accounting workflows, or back-office operations
Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
Experience running proof-of-concept engagements
Familiarity with RFI/RFP processes
Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
