Infrastructure & Office 365 Support Engineer

Our Product, StavPay is currently used by alternative asset managers with over $500B of assets under management and is growing quickly.
About This Role
To provide comprehensive support for the organization’s computing environment including PC, network, server, and cloud infrastructure. Ensures IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems.
- Support and maintain end-user requirements, including troubleshooting, account maintenance, and training.
- Install, configure, and update software and drivers.
- Monitor and manage the organization's server, network, and cloud infrastructure.
- Assist with infrastructure projects, such as server migrations, network upgrades, and security initiatives.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
Office 365 Management:
- Administer and support Office 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Manage user licenses and ensure compliance.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and functionality issues within the Office 365 environment.
Azure Cloud Infrastructure:
- Deploy, manage, and monitor services within the Azure environment.
- Assist with the implementation of Azure solutions.
- Manage and maintain Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Hardware Maintenance and Setup:
- Set up and configure new workstations, servers, and network equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to make sure equipment operates optimally.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain IT inventory for hardware, software licenses, and cloud resources.
- Document procedures, configurations, and other relevant information.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other IT team members, departments, and external vendors.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members.
- Communicate regularly with users to understand needs and provide updates.
Incident and Problem Management:
- Log and track issues using IT service management tools.
- Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and problems.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in IT support, Office 365, Azure, and general cloud infrastructure.
- Attend training, workshops, and seminars as required.
Required Competences- Must have Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or Azure Fundamentals can be a big plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role supporting PCs, servers, and network infrastructure. At least 1 year of experience managing and supporting Office 365 and Azure environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Office 365 and Azure.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Knowledge of IT security best practices, especially in cloud environments.

Working Hours 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST or 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (as per the US daylight saving schedule)
